People of the past…today.
Ever think of what some of history’s heros would look like today? I’ve wondered. How would they dress? Would they wear the latest styles? Or dress from a thrift store? Would Churchill wear Tommy Hilfiger? Would Thomas Edison sport Ray Bans while riding his Harley Davidson in a black leather biker jacket?
A while back, I joined a contest to portray Jesus as an ordinary guy (with recognizable ‘Romanized’ Jesus features). He was emphasizing that Jesus really is relevant to our current time. Here is what I came up with:
I think he was right. I don’t know if I could imagine Jesus clapping at a country western concert, shoveling snow or watching baseball in the spring, but I’m pretty sure that he would stand out to us. They didn’t decide on mine for the winner, so these pics are available as a gift for the New Year.

President Explores Job Venues in Fragile Economy

Apparently no one really will take him seriously until, that is, he auditioned for a popular children’s series as their host. Obama captivated the children test audiences with his storytelling and ability to convince the test subjects that he could really do “anything he wanted to do“.
